Walter, Florence ‘team up’ in new Scorpion season 4 episode 9 sneak peek
In the sneak peek below from “It’s Raining Men (Of War),” what you can see is the team getting a surprising offer from new neighbor Florence in order to help with one of their new missions — finding a way to dissolve a massive island of garbage. This is a Scorpion mission with a message that many people out there should actually pay attention to — it’s much more relevant to present-day headlines and situations than most would immediately imagine. There are actual islands of garbage floating around out there in the ocean, and since some places still need plenty of attention paid to recycling efforts, they are not doing anything at all to slow down the problem.
Well, in this sneak peek Walter O’Brien realizes that Florence, (a chemist) may be a valuable person to help him with what he is going through. Unfortunately, the problem that he’s running into here is just that he doesn’t know her. He’s letting his uncertainty about her skills cloud much of what she’s bringing to the table, and Paige has to convince him to hear her out when it comes to how she could help the team. Even after that, Walter still resists wanting to bring her on board, and tries to use the Thanksgiving holiday as an excuse for her not being able to take part. Yet, Florence is open for it — as are all of the members of Team Scorpion, (surprisingly). Nobody has any reservations with going out on the holiday. Apparently,it’s cheaper to get out on the boat at a time in which nobody else is doing so.
By the end of the sneak peek it seems like Florence is on board, but we do still have some bad news: This is not going to work out as she or the rest of the team hoped. A number of team members are going to find themselves stranded out on a quickly-dissolving island with no easy solution as to how to get off safely. Given the history of this team to somehow escape death like Houdini week in and week out, we have to think that they’ll be able to do so yet again here. Along the way, maybe we’ll get a chance to learn some more about Florence as a team member in the process.
