Good Behavior season 2 episode 7 preview: Are Letty, Javier splitting up?

Moving into Good Behavior season 2 episode 7 airing on TNT next week, Letty is going to find herself at a very painful crossroads. “Don’t Thank God, Thank Me” may be somewhat of an opportunity for her to figure that out.

At the end of tonight’s episode Letty decided that she could not have a future with Jacob in the way that she wanted, and decided to drop him off with Estelle. Now, she may also be deciding to move on from Javier for the time being. The Good Behavior season 2 episode 7 synopsis CarterMatt has for you below suggests that we could see a regression from Michelle Dockery’s character given that she thinks (for some reason) it will be better for her. Or, maybe she just thinks that she does not deserve anything else:

“Realizing she and Javier (Juan Diego Botto) only do damage to one another, Letty (Michelle Dockery) tries to go back to her old life, but that might be even worse. Javier will use any means necessary to get answers from the person who’s been trying to kill him.”

This episode is going to be an integral one in establishing what the story will be for the final episodes this season. We do think that on some level Javier and Letty want to have a normal life, but neither knows how to get there. For Javier, he’s been clearly trying to take on too much by himself and that culminated in the violent insanity that we saw at the end of this past episode. It makes sense that he would be on a revenge path now, but the possible reality here is that this revenge path is probably not going to lead anywhere other than creating more violence and pain for him.

Of course, if Letty and Javier do continue to break the law, there is also a perfectly good possibility that Lashever will find a way to get herself together after some of her recent antics and start hunting the two of them down. There are only a handful of episodes to go this season so whatever happens from here on out will matter exponentially more than anything in terms of establishing the endgame. Given that there is no Good Behavior season 3 renewal as of right now, you have to face the possibility that the end could be near — even if it’s not an altogether pleasant thought.
