Bull season 2 episode 8 preview: Michael Weatherly vs. Archie Panjabi
This particular installment, (which carries with it the title of “The Devil, the Detail”) marks an appearance from none other than The Good Wife alum Archie Panjabi as one of the most formidable adversaries to Dr. Jason Bull we’ve met in the series so far. There aren’t many people who work within the field of trial science, but it just so happens that this character (named Arti Cander) is one of them. She’ll be leading the opposition team and causing major headaches for Bull every step of the way.
Below, the Bull season 2 episode 8 synopsis CarterMatt has for you will give you a little more insight into what’s coming up:
“The Devil, The Detail” – Bull agrees to help the parents of a former employee sue a drug company when their son commits suicide during a drug trial. However, the task is complicated when the company brings in their own trial scientist, Arti Cander (Emmy Award winner Archie Panjabi), on BULL, Tuesday, Nov. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Going into Bull season 2 one of the things at the top of our wishlist was finding some new ways in which to challenge our title character; we’ve got a pretty good feeling that bringing in someone like Panjabi will be a perfect way to do that! She’s an incredible actress who can take on a wide array of different roles and we certainly know that she can play the part of “intimidating adversary” rather well.
One of the great things about this show is that in Bull’s line of work, we do presume that this is a fairly small world. With that in mind we hardly think that this will be the only opportunity to see her character on the show — she may not have another confirmed appearance in the near future, but one could still be coming up down the line.
