Blue Bloods season 8 episode 6 video: A Frank, Jamie, and Eddie debate

Blue Bloods season 8

Blue Bloods season 8 episode 6 (coming up on CBS Friday night) looks to contain some interesting drama — and CarterMatt has got video proof of that.

Frank Reagan is typically a man who stands up for his police officers and what they do in the field. What makes this situation a little bit different? Well, that’s something that will be explored in the episode of little more. The sneak peek we have for you below is mostly the foundation for what’s going to be coming up with Tom Selleck’s character.

You can see that Frank has a very interesting reaction to the news that a prominent artist finds herself arrested after having a pretty wild outburst. This is an outburst that includes her dumping paint all over Jamie and Eddie’s police car, and in theory it makes perfect sense that they would want to put her in handcuffs after that. They are just doing their jobs, and this is not the sort of thing that you typically give a slap-on-the-wrist to. It’s vandalism of the worst kind  and one of those paint cans could have seriously hurt somebody!

So what could be going on here with Frank’s unusual reaction to the arrest? Based on some of the information that is out there about this episode at the moment, it could have something to do with this artist’s ties to the Archbishop or to the church itself. There is a very delicate relationship between these institutions on the CBS show, and that’s something that has become a factor in a number of cases already. For Frank, he may have to try to reconcile this and recognize that Jamie and Eddie are probably in the right with their reaction. If he has to deal with the blow back of that it’s fine — it’s his job, and he’s clearly dealt with so much more over the years.

As for whether or not this Blue Bloods episode is the one where Jamie and Eddie finally get together, we would love to say that it is. However, that may just be wishful thinking at this point. Vanessa Ray spoke out on the subject of the couple’s relationship recently, and made it clear that the original struggle that was there for the two of them still remains. If they want to be together romantically, it will mean the end of their partnership. They deeply value working together and may not want to risk it. Also, if they switch there’s a good chance they end up being partnered with some toolbox.

What do you think about this Blue Bloods season 8 Episode 6 preview, and do you think it sets the stage for a great episode? Be sure to let us know in the comments if you think that Jamie and Eddie are in the right, and if you think the Frank is eventually going to agree with them.
