The Blacklist season 5 episode 7 spoilers: Dembe goes undercover

For those of you who love Dembe episodes, The Blacklist season 5 episode 7 is going to be right up your alley! This is an episode that will put the character in a prominent spot, and it’s one that seems to be separate from both Reddington and the rest of the other team! While we’ve absolutely seen James Spader’s character and Hisham Tawfiq’s separate in the past, it’s a little bit different when Dembe is undercover separate from almost everyone.

This installment, airing on November 8, is entitled “The Kilgannon Corporation.” Below, you can get a little more information regarding what lies ahead via NBC:

11/08/2017 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Red (James Spader) and the Task Force place Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) undercover to infiltrate an international human smuggling organization, but when communication is lost, they must intervene. Meanwhile, Tom’s (Ryan Eggold) investigation into the suitcase lands him in grave danger.

The main reason that we’re highlighting the story here when it comes to Dembe more so than Tom is fairly simple: You probably already know at this point what is coming up for this character. His potentially-deadly situation was telegraphed from the very moment that the premiere episode ends, and it’s reasonably easy to see how he finds himself in that spot. Reddington probably doesn’t love him sniffing around as much as he is, and as a result of that he’ll probably enact some sort of vengeance. We’re slowly building towards some sort of situation in one form or another, and signs point towards it coming by the time you make it to the end of the show’s fall run. We wouldn’t be shocked if there’s a big cliffhanger at the end of it until the new year rolls around, but we suppose that a wait-and-see approach is needed there more so than anything.

For now, you’ve got some good stuff to look forward to provided that you love Dembe, and also provided that you’re okay being nervous over Tom’s fate.
