Blindspot season 3 – Paul Guilfoyle casting news; who’s he playing?
According to a report from Variety, Guilfoyle (best known for appearing in more than 300 episodes of CSI) is appearing in at least one and potentially more episodes of the Jaimie Alexander NBC series, playing the part of a “fixer with a mysterious past” who goes by the name of Rossi. The role of fixers on primetime television has seemingly expanded out since the rise in characters like Olivia Pope and Ray Donovan on TV — they have allowed for these characters to be explored more, which makes a good bit of since there is genuinely a lot of good, interesting stuff to be touched on here. How hard will fixers work in order to achieve what they’ve set out to do? What happens when they cannot fix something after they are already hired to do the job — what happens to them?
Within the world of Blindspot any and all issues are only increased exponentially because of the fact we’re talking about a show here that already has so many dangerous people around. In some ways Guilfoyle’s character may only be a blip on the radar to some others when it comes to pure danger.
We’ll see how this character plays out over time — based on the timing of the news we’d be surprised to see this character in the first few episodes of the season, but who knows? Maybe the folks over at NBC were able to somehow keep the character under wraps for a little while so that this could be a big reveal now. That would certainly be a fun thing if they were able to pull that off — and, in turn, throw us off.

Just in case hearing about Blindspot was not enough for you, know that the actor is also going to be heading back onto season 2 of the CBS All Access series The Good Fight. Henry Rindell will be back, but for the time being there is no set number of episodes in which he will appear.
The Good Fight season 2 is currently slated to premiere at some point in the new year on All Access.
