Is Michael Cudlitz at center of Walking Dead – Fear the Walking Dead crossover?
If you do find yourself searching for the origin of this said rumor, you really do not have to look any further than the Fear the Walking Dead finale, which aired on AMC on Sunday night. In the midst of the episode there was a reference to Houston, which, as many fans of the show know, is where Abraham seemed to start his journey prior to linking up with Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rosita (Christian Serratos). He’s a well-traveled character who went through a lot before eventually finding some sort of peace — which, of course, came shortly before his death because that is the way things often tend to go within the Walking Dead universe. Right when you start to finally figure something out when it comes to your life someone else enters the picture and wallops you over the head.
Ultimately, there are many questions that will surface if it does so happen to be Abraham who turns up on Fear the Walking Dead, starting with trying to understand the timeline of where this show is at right now in comparison to where the flagship one was in the past. Are we still at the moment in the flagship timeline on Fear the Walking Dead to where Abraham would actually still be in Houston? That is most certainly possible but there is no guarantee of any such thing.
If we do get a chance to see Abraham turn in an appearance on Fear the Walking Dead season 4, the appeal would be most likely what AMC was setting up for back when they first announced that there would be some sort of crossover taking place over the next year or so. They don’t want to feature a character so inconsequential here that nobody would really be bothered to care. However, at the same time they also have to figure out a way to incorporate someone who makes some sense and isn’t just there for the sake of self-promotion and trying to convince people to watch this show out of desperation. He fits the bill, but there’s still some time in order to see if this actually happens. Not only that, but we also still have to wait and see if this isn’t just some clever trickery on the part of AMC to lead you down the wrong path. With this network anything is possible.
