Ellen kicks off Cat Week, NCIS: LA character’s new boat, The Voice Battle rounds

Recovered from great TV episodes over the weekend? Hopefully you have as Monday night’s primetime listings are looking to be a fantastic night of television. Who said fall TV wasn’t worth the wait? It most definitely is!

Before we get into what to keep an eye on this week, I wanted to point out one laugh myself silly moment on Friday night. I was watching Friday’s MacGyver and in one of the scenes Jack Dalton (played by George Eads) is seen with the backside of his pants cracked down the center during an action sequence. Whether this was intentional (or it just happened) we will never know, but it was hilarious.

Ellen DeGeneres kicks off 8th Annual Cat Week

Ellen DeGeneres kicked off the 8th Annual Cat Week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She is once again showcasing some great cat videos. As we all know this unofficial holiday reflecting on the felines is a fun opportunity to see exactly what those crazy critters are doing. From chasing birds to making humans laugh, it’s always entertaine. Unfortunately there are a few pups that don’t appreciate this week. My dog is moaning about this announcement for sure and I know he’d be writing in to the show for equal time, if, he had a thumb.

Talking about Cats: Is that kitty looking like a Cougar?

Since we are talking about cats, take a look at this funny video from Hernando, Mississippi. Highlighting a story of a large cougar in the area, Fox 13 reporter Scott Madaus is talking up a dangerous animal as the camera pans to a housecat staring the man down. The funny part? The bottom wordage that states “Large Cat Spotted.” Yes, perhaps there was a big cat in the area, but this cute cat looks like she needs a microphone!

NCIS: LA character’s new boat

On Sunday night the fans of NCIS: Los Angeles saw a character make a huge personal change. Instead of going home to his house, Special Agent Sam Hanna moved into a new home on the water. Yep, I’m talking about a fairly large houseboat and he named it after his late wife. This switch up is an interesting twist for the character and it offers viewers a chance to see how his life changes next. Watching the final minutes of the show, I admit I was happy to see this. I mean Agent Hanna was in a travel trailer previously and it was feeling a bit too much like a character from Lethal Weapon.

The Voice Battle rounds

The Voice fans are thrilled that the battle rounds are beginning on Monday night. The decisions from the coaches have brought tears and cheers as they pick their contestants. Now those lucky enough to see the red chair swivel around need to prove themselves and sing like it’s their last performance. It’s going to be a wildly fun episode and I, for one, can’t wait to see what they bring on stage!
