Madam Secretary season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Dimitri is missing
Before we dive any further, let’s kick things off by sharing the Madam Secretary season 4 episode 3 synopsis below:
“The Essentials” – With a government shutdown looming, Elizabeth must think outside the box to help fund an electrical grid in a Syrian refugee camp, before riots break out in the country due to the lack of electricity and water. Also, Henry searches for Dmitri when he goes missing, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Oct. 22 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
There is obviously a great deal to impact here but the title especially seems like a very clear reference to the crisis going on within Syria within this episode. While we may be concerned about a number of serious things here in America, very rarely does it ever compare with the desperate state of things that are happening over in Syria. Hopefully, this is the sort of story that serves in part to put some things in perspective.
Meanwhile, the story of Dimitri is obviously going to be essential for Henry in many different ways. For one, Dimitri is an important person in terms of what he knows and you always have to wonder what happens in the event that information falls into the wrong hands. Beyond that Henry has put a lot of effort into ensuring that Dimitri is okay. We have a hard time thinking that he would just sit idly by knowing that there could be some terrible stuff transpiring here. No matter what happens here, the biggest thing that we can caution you on is this: The aftereffects could be severe.
In general, we appreciate Madam Secretary for continuing to stay so ambitious in their storytelling. We’re only three episodes in as of next week and Elizabeth has already been to the Middle East and back.
