Lucifer season 3 episode 3 video: Maze the Bounty Hunter!
The video below offers up some of the most substantial scoop that we’ve seen on this installment yet, and it looks very much like it’s going to be an action-packed hour. At the center of it this time around is going to be the Maze character doing what she can in order to better find her voice and her place within the world. She realizes that she shouldn’t be subjected to the same rules that she once was, and she’s frustrated as a result of that. This is why she decides to become a bit of a bounty hunter in this episode. This will be action-packed, funny, and give you a better understanding as to who she is within this world and what she wants. While Tom Ellis and the rest of the cast will still be involved this is very much an episode all about putting Maze into the spotlight and allowing her to shine to the best of her abilities.
For those who have not had a chance to read some of the headlines just yet, Lucifer season 3 episode 3 is the first one of the standalone episodes that were actually produced back during the second season. There were four of these that were created, mostly because of the realization that Fox didn’t have room in the schedule to put them all on the air by the end of the May sweeps (thank 24: Legacy and APB in part for that). While it may be a bummer for some to see the story of the Sinnerman pushed slightly into the back burner during this episode there are a few different things that you are going to get a great opportunity to enjoy tonight. For one, this installment offers up an opportunity to have a bit of fun, and for the producers to play around with the style and form of the show more than they are typically able to. It’s also a chance to learn more about Maze, and have some of what we do learn here referenced in a few other stories coming up down the road.
Ultimately, this episode should give you enough of the character to help make up for her relative absence elsewhere in the early part of the series. A little bit later this season you can expect to see more of Maze around on a regular basis.
