The Flash season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Hazard & a Wally – Jesse update

Flash season 4 episode 3

When The Flash season 4 episode 3 airs on The CW on October 24, there could be many questions — including some about The Thinker. Where is he? The man, otherwise known as Clifford DeVoe, is meant to be the Big Bad for the upcoming season. Yet, there isn’t a whole lot that is being said about the character at the moment in some of the press releases. There are some other villains you will be meeting in the opening batch of episodes as the team tries to reassemble and find itself in the aftermath of Barry returning from the Speed Force.

For this upcoming episode entitled “Luck Be a Lady,” the villain that you are going to meet specifically is Hazard. You can read a little more about her here at CarterMatt by checking out the Flash season 4 episode 3 synopsis below:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team are hit by a string of bad luck and realize it is the handiwork of a new meta, Becky (guest star Sugar-Lyn Beard) nicknamed Hazard, who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself. Meanwhile, Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) returns to Earth-1 to give Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) a message from Jesse. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#403). Original airdate 10/24/2017.”

One of the things that could be interesting about this episode is seeing how The Flash chooses to express bad luck on the show. It could be done in a really comedic way (the show is meant to be much lighter this season), or the writers could figure out a way to create some serious drama out of this. Maybe someone’s bad luck as a result of Hazard causes their life to be put on the line.

As for the return of Harry Wells, we’re all about it! We don’t know what the message from Jesse to Wally could be, but we’re a little worried just because we haven’t heard much about Violett Beane returning to the show in the immediate future. It could still happen, but we wonder why Jesse isn’t passing along the message to him herself given the history that these two parties have.
