The Good Doctor episode 3 spoilers: Shaun, Claire race against time

The Good Doctor episode 3

Even though we are still fairly early on in the season, The Good Doctor episode 3 is looking to raise the stakes and add to the drama. One of the best ways to clearly do that is be throwing our main character Dr. Shaun Murphy face some of his struggles as he tries to continue to save lives. We know that he’s exceptional when it comes to medicine, so with that in mind the writers do need to come up with some other challenges. One of the biggest ones is always going to be knowing how to communicate in high-pressure social situations, and this is just what he will be facing next week.

However, one interesting thing to remember — and also one of the things that this show is doing so right at the moment — is that Murphy is not the only character who is going to have problems. Some of the other ones may not manifest themselves in the same ways, but they are still very much there.

Take a look below at some more news in terms of what is coming up.

The Good Doctor episode 3 synopsis – “Dr. Neil Melendez and Dr. Jared Unger discover their patient isn’t being completely honest with them which may cost him his chance at a life-saving surgery. Meanwhile, Dr. Claire Browne must learn to communicate with Dr. Shaun Murphy as they race back to St. Bonaventure Hospital with a donated organ. “The Good Doctor” airs MONDAY, OCTOBER 9 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.”

Basically, Shaun and Claire are going to be racing against time to figure out how to get this organ back; if they are not able to do so, it could come as a huge blow to their careers. One of the biggest things that the two parties have going for them at the moment is the overall tone of this show. While there are going to be dark times, we don’t anticipate that the writers are out to leave many of their viewers devastated. There may still be some hope at the end of the road.

For a little more evidence of the show’s tone, just take a look at how uplifting ABC is trying to sell the show! The promo below offers up a little more insight into some of what’s coming, and does it through a fantastic lens of hope, cheer, inspiration, and also the song “I Lived.” This is probably the tone the show needs to stick with if it wants great ratings in 2017.
