Scorpion season 4 episode 4 spoilers: Is there some Happy conflict ahead?
for a little more insight into what’s coming here, take a look at the just-released synopsis below:
“While decommissioning an old nuclear missile, a simple accident causes Team Scorpion to endure exposure to toxic vapor while trying to prevent the nuke from detonating. Also, Paige confronts Happy about constantly tagging along with her and Walter, on SCORPION, Monday, Oct. 16 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
So what is going to be going on here? One of the things we’re interested in here is seeing the evolution of some of the different characters now that their relationships are in different places. Why would Happy be constantly following her and Walter around? Is she looking for some sort of escape from her own relationship? That’s at least one of the possibilities that you should be considering at the moment, though we’ve got a feeling that there are some others that could become apparent between now and then. It is still a little early to know one way or another when it comes to what she’s up to, but per CBS this confrontation is eventually going to lead to her becoming not-so-happy with some fellow members of the team.
As for the case itself, this does seem like a fairly normal one for the team — which means that the entire team is going to be dealing with varying degrees of near-death situations. The longer that this episode goes along, the more likely that it is that someone could be in danger of succumbing to the vapor and dying.
One additional thing that is worth noting about this episode is rather clear: Executive producer Nicholas Wootton is one of the co-writers. Typically when you see this for an episode, it means that it’s a rather important one. Showrunners often do take on some meaty material!
