Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4 spoilers: Dawson in danger

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4

Right when you thought that Firehouse 51 was A-Okay, Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4 airing on Tuesday, October 19 will change that. This episode is entitled “A Breaking Point,” and will explore the pretty horrific possibility that Gabriella Dawson will be in grave danger just a mere matter of episodes after thinking that she could be losing her husband Casey for good.

The synopsis below gives you a sense as to what is coming in this episode, and also the sense of desperation that you’ll be seeing from the character in the process:

“While running a secret errand, Dawson (Monica Raymund) finds herself trapped in a collapsed parking structure. With all paths of exit blocked, she is forced to improvise and works double-duty to keep a number of injured individuals alive while trying to maintain peace among those trapped. Meanwhile, pressure is mounting on Casey (Jesse Spencer) as he begins to take on additional duties, Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) grows increasingly skeptical of Hope (guest star Eloise Mumford) after learning about rumors circulating and the firehouse receives a surprise visitor. Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, Kara Killmer, David Eigenberg, Yuri Sardarov, Joe Minoso and Christian Stolte also star.”

Just in case you did need more validation for whatever reason that Dawson is a hero, this synopsis is all the proof you need. Even while she is facing grace danger you’re going to continue seeing Dawson do everything that she can to help some of the other people that are in danger, and the fact that she’ll be off-duty means that she’ll probably have to get creative in order to help some of these people without her proper equipment. Maybe this is the episode where Dawson does her best MacGyver impression!

As for everything else coming, it looks in general like Hope’s intentions are going to be a huge storyline for both Stella, Brett, and Severide. We don’t want to call her a villain per se, but we’re not being set up to root for her, either.
