Emmys 2017 red carpet live stream: Where, when to watch

Emmys 2017 red carpet live stream

Are you looking or an Emmys 2017 red carpet live stream? Well, have no fear — we’re here to help with this very thing! This is one of television’s biggest nights, so of course it does make some sense that you would want to be a part of the festivities in any way that you possibly can.

One of the biggest ways that you can do that, of course, is by checking out the wide array of different pre-show festivities prior to the awards themselves happening at around 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Where can you live stream some of the carpet coverage? There are a few different place.

Twitter – At around 6:00 p.m. Eastern time, there will be a stream put on from the folks at Entertainment Weekly and People who will take you through some of the fashion on the night alongside interviews with the big arrivals to the show.

Facebook Live – Entertainment Tonight is planning to put up live coverage of the awards tonight starting at around 5:30, and if you prefer their coverage, that may be the better way to go.

E! – If you prefer more traditional red-carpet coverage on TV, then heading over to the cable channel is probably the right place to go. There is some pre-show coverage starting at around 4:30 p.m. Eastern, but starting at 6:00 is when the red carpet itself really gets going. If you start watching/listening before then, you can at least get a good preview for what some of the fashion could be based on some past trends.

No matter what venue you choose, the Emmys should afford you the opportunity to have a good time checking out some of your favorite TV actors doing their best to celebrate. With Stephen Colbert set to host this year on CBS, we certainly do feel as though this is going to be one of the more topical versions of the Emmys that we’ve seen over the years — It will be funny, biting, and may inspire the President to tweet out angry things in the morning. It really wouldn’t be Colbert these days if there was not some sort of political tinge to what was going on over the course of the broadcast.

What do you want to happen while at the Emmys tonight? Be sure to share some of your thoughts right now in the comments!
