Real Housewives of Orange County preview: Kelly Dodd’s party problems

Kelly Dodd

When Monday night’s Real Housewives of Orange County episode airs on Bravo, there are many parties to be had! Of course, with every party associated with this show tends to come one thing: Drama. Often, this is the perfect venue for one reason or another for there to be some arguments, or for some issues heard through the grapevine to come to light.

Based on the earliest indications that we have for this episode, we don’t actually know what’s stranger: Kelly Dodd having a party for her breast reduction (the main focus for this episode), or for her to be getting along with virtually everyone other than Meghan King Edmonds, someone who she previously got along with very well. Clearly, she is still dealing with some of the aftermath of what happened earlier this season when Kelly made some of the comments that she made to her at the drag party — basically, consider this one party spilling over to the other one.

If you look below, you can get some additional news and insight regarding what is coming up beyond just this.

Synopsis – “As rumors swirl around Orange County following Vicki’s birthday party, Tamra catches wind of what transpired about Eddie and is livid. The “Friendship Whisperer” Lydia is even perplexed by Vicki’s motives and is nervous for all the women to converge at Kelly’s beach volleyball party. Kelly is having a breast reduction and decides to have a “Boobs Voyage Party” with all the women except her former bestie, Meghan. All hell breaks loose at Kelly’s party when Tamra and Vicki finally talk face-to-face.”

The thing that makes the relationship between Vicki and Tamra so tense at this point is that it’s almost impossible to get the two on the same page at this point. They’ve been through a lot together, and they each know how the other one things and operates. It’s a little bit of a different situation here than it is when a returning cast member is fighting with a newbie. At that point, there is still some element of plausible deniability where you can look at someone and say that you haven’t quite figured them out just yet. Vicki and Tamra can no longer rely on that as a reason for why they’re not getting along.
