Dancing with the Stars 25: Barbara Corcoran, Frankie Muniz, more reportedly cast

Barbara CorcoranThe Dancing with the Stars 25 cast, if some of the rumors are true, just gets ever the more interesting. Getting Barbara Corcoran on board is proof.

Per E! News, the Shark Tank star is getting set to step into the ballroom heels for the show this fall. This would make her the third person associated with the franchise to appear in the ballroom; Robert Herjavec did it several seasons ago before eventually getting engaged and marrying his partner Kym Johnson. Meanwhile, Mark Cuban also danced with Kym, even though it was back before he was even a part of Shark Tank many years ago.

There’s no word yet on who Barbara would be dancing with, but this excites us given that she’s long been one of our favorite Sharks in terms of personality and humor. She’s also made a lot of money off of some of the investments that she’s made since becoming a part of the series. We don’t know how well a New York real estate tycoon is going to fare on a ballroom dancing competition, but we’ll be pulling for her.

As for some other reported cast members…

Frankie Muniz – We have no idea how this one didn’t happen sooner. The former Malcolm in the Middle star is going to be trying his best to win people over during his time on the show. If this means that we get to see a Bryan Cranston cameo at some point during the show, we feel like that’s totally a win and something to be psyched about.

Derek Fisher – The former NBA star was a point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, and won multiple titles there. He also played for the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz, and Oklahoma City Thunder. Most recently, he was the head coach for the New York Knicks. This is a somewhat-surprising gig for him, and we feel like were he not a Lakers icon it probably wouldn’t happen.

Victoria Arlen – The former Paralympic swimmer should serve as one of the show’s inspirational stories this season. She now works for ESPN, and she underwent a years-long battle learning to walk again after being confined to a wheelchair. She’s got a chance to go a long way this season, though more challenges await her.

Jordan Fisher – Another contestant we hadn’t heard of before today. This Fisher is best known for being Doody on Grease! Live, but also has appeared on Teen Wolf, Liv and Maddie, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Remember some of the other casting rumors

Drew Scott of Property Brothers has actually been confirmed to be appearing on this season already, while Nikki Bella of the Bella Twins also seems to be closed to locked in. Both Vanessa and Nick Lachey have been reported for a while to be contestants.
