The Bachelorette finale: Could Rachel Lindsay’s fiance be Peter Kraus, Bryan Abasolo?

Rachel Lindsay's fiance

Who could be Rachel Lindsay’s fiancé on The Bachelorette tonight? The first thing worth noting here is rather clear: Someone will. Rachel has already confirmed that she is engaged at present, and there are three candidates left in Peter Kraus, Bryan Abasolo, and Eric Bigger.

For the sake of this article, what we’re hoping to do is play analyst — looking at the remaining guys, and seeing which one of them actually makes the most sense when the dust finally settles. There aren’t any spoilers ahead, but we do think that the show is veering you down a rather specific path as to who is going to win in the end.

Peter – The thing that Peter has going for him feels reasonably clear: He comes across as very kind and genuine, and he has been nothing but honest for most of the season. That’s very much different from most contenders. Maybe there are some people out there who could consider it wrong that he is wary about being engaged, but she should take that as a sign that he’s wanting to take this seriously. There’s a big difference between not wanting to be engaged and not loving her. It feels pretty darn clear at the moment that he very much loves her and that’s not much of an issue at all.

Bryan – In terms of passion, there is probably more here with Rachel than there is with the other two remaining men. However, there are also still questions as to how genuine he is given that he’s presented himself in a rather-perfect light for most of the season. His confidence also does at times border on arrogance, which is something that we especially saw recently with him meeting Rachel’s family. He’s probably the closest thing to a lock to winning this season, but that doesn’t make him a fan favorite.

Eric – Poor Eric. We do think that he’s a nice person and seems to love Rachel, but he’s also very inexperienced when it comes to love and she may be further along in her life. From our vantage point, she is probably looking more for someone who has both emotional maturity and maturity in relationships; Eric is just not there yet. This is the breakup that will probably hurt the most since he’s going to feel it for a while. That’s why it is probably a good thing that he is not a part of this upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise — at least we haven’t gotten any indication that he’s going to be there.
