Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Who won safety? Josh’s nomination plan (day 45, evening)

planned nominations

If it feels like the Big Brother 19 live feeds were down for an eternity today, it’s because they were. When they went offline, it was around 10:30 a.m. Big Brother Time. They didn’t come back until almost 8:30 p.m., one of the longest breaks of the season beyond the ones that were planned in advance.

One of the things that was the most interesting about the feeds coming back up was hearing from Josh that he wanted to nominate Mark and Elena for eviction. Why not Cody and Jessica? They seem to be the obvious targets given that they are super-threatening in competitions. Yet, apparently Josh seems to think that Elena’s ability to move around in the game makes her more of a target than them … even though she’s won nothing and could probably be nominated at any time. (Oh, and Cody won the Temptation Competition and is safe for the week.)

Oh, and Jessica is already the third nominee. That’s why he’s not considering putting her up. Josh has to nominate someone, so Mark and Elena are the obvious choices there. He could pawn Alex, but doesn’t want to do it.

Paul is trying to convince him, as of this writing, that the right move is to make Jess the target and be done with it, seeing that she is one of the most threatening people in the house. The house is getting a little too cute if they don’t take out the threat that is right in front of them … or at least Josh is. He seems to want Elena out more than he does Jessica.

The biggest thing to remember about Josh is that the internet label of him as “Paul’s minion” is a bit of a misnomer. He’s really more of Christmas’ minion and he considers her his true #1 ally. He just doesn’t make that public. He may listen to Paul’s guidance, but that’s not a guarantee he follows it. We don’t know how deep Josh is thinking about this, but Jessica in the long-term is far more of a challenge threat. She does get to play in the Veto as it is, and that’s dangerous for everyone else even if she placed last in the one today.

In other news, Mark seems to know that he’s going up on the block. He’ll probably be boring up there and has very little chance at going home. He’s been boring much of the season other than fighting with Josh, but we do think he’s a nice guy and feel kind of bad for how he’s been treated throughout the run of the show.
