Shadowhunters season 2 episode 19 spoilers: Downworlder drama

Shadowhunters season 2 episode 19

When Shadowhunters season 2 episode 19 airs on Freeform next week, one of the things that you could see is its version of all-out war. The Downworlders have separated themselves more from the Shadowhunters, and they are going to try to do whatever they can in order to ensure that they stop the forces that are making them fear for their own lives. However, and as is often the case with this show, there will be some other issues that they have to take on, as well. For example, the severing of a bond with the Shadowhunters could escalate tensions so much that the two parties end up going to war against each other. That should be the last thing that either team should want to do, given that it serves as a major distraction from what some of the biggest threats are at the moment.

Below, you can get a few more of the official details as to what’s coming up, and also where the Downworlders’ motivations lie when it comes to many of their recent actions.

Shadowhunters season 2 episode 19 synopsis – “After centuries of being lied to and treated poorly by The Clave, the Downworlders decide to come together and take matters into their own hands as the hunt for Valentine and Sebastian intensifies. But what starts off as a way to preserve their own, the Downworlders choice to break with the Shadowhunters, could quickly escalate to war.”

Is there anything in this synopsis that offers up hope for Magnus and Alec? We wouldn’t say that, but there’s also nothing in here that makes us necessarily think that they are doomed. There are two more episodes left this season, and that means two more opportunities to see things between the two start to turn around.

Beyond this and the new Lake Lyn revelation tonight, one of the other major things that we are curious about is getting a chance to learn further where the Seelie Queen fits into all of this. Sarah Hyland is coming around in at least one of the final episodes; there’s already been a sneak preview out there for her story for a little while now.

About the promo – This gives you a good sense of some of the revenge that is being taken against Jonathan and Valentine, but beyond that, not a whole lot else. There is a nice moment with Clary and Jace at the start of it, but it feels a little too early to say one way or another what is going to transpire as a result of just a small tease like this.
