Major Crimes season 6: What fans want to see with Sharon, Andy, and more

Major Crimes season 6

Over the last week spoilers for Major Crimes season 6 have been in full swing, teasing fans hungry for more scoop.

The two biggest fan favorite spoilers for the upcoming season are the wedding for Commander Sharon Raydor and Lieutenant Detective Andy Flynn and the news that Philip Stroh will return.

This relationship has always captured the hearts of the fans and rightfully so. They went from being two people who hated each other to a couple who wants to spend the rest of their lives together. Sharon and Andy’s relationship isn’t featured in every episode, but the tiny gestures are what fans live for.

The love behind the relationships certainly helps the TNT show, especially after the unexpected and baffling news that Major Crimes would move to Wednesday nights alongside Criminal Minds and Law and Order: SVU. On the show’s old night, the ratings were strong and steady, and in order to be successful on its new night, the fans that made it a hit on Monday nights need to follow the show to Wednesdays.

Maybe showrunner James Duff has realized this because he’s made the decision to have Sharon and Andy marry and to have Philip Stroh come back.

What else could he do?

The audience wants to see a little bit more of the wedding planning side of getting married. It was briefly shown toward the end of season five and it was a sweet moment to watch. If the audience could see more of those tiny moments leading up to the wedding then it would definitely be a way to bring up the ratings. Television relationships are what sell because fans get so obsessed and involved in the couple’s life that they cannot wait for the next episode.

Another part of Sharon and Andy’s relationship that fans want to see is the “I love you” moment. Fans have seen the small gestures and glances that say speak more than words, but nothing beats hearing those three words come to life.

As mentioned previously it would also be nice to see some tense moments between the couple, nothing too intense but definitely something to make the relationship more realistic. As many people know, relationships and marriages aren’t perfect; so many fans want to see a relationship or marriage they can relate to.

Could one of these tense moments be dealing with Philip Stroh? Given that the cast of Major Crimes has instagrammed and tweeted behind-the-scenes photos of Sharon and Andy’s wedding right around the time Philip Stroh’s return was announced, it’s definitely a possibility. And when we say tense moment, we mean it would be interesting to see how Sharon and Andy want to handle Stroh, considering both of them have strong opinions and personalities.

What fans don’t want to see is a Castle moment with Stroh showing up in the middle of the ceremony ruining the wedding. The good news is this seems unlikely because it’s just not the style of James Duff and company.

What is more likely is the squad has to solve a huge high-profile case before our favorite couple walks down the aisle.

As previously reported, Stroh will undoubtedly present some danger and not just to Sharon but Rusty as well. Rusty and Stroh are connected with Sharon being added to the mix when she took on Rusty’s case, but now there’s Andy too. If Stroh does decide to go after Rusty once and for all, then Stroh won’t just be in a fight with Sharon, but Andy will be in the mix now too. Again, whatever dangerous challenge Stroh puts up, he will be met with an equally worthy opponent.

What dangerous challenge could he put up?

Well what we do know is Stroh is looking for a woman who he desperately wants to find. Will she be connected to a case the squad is working on? Is this how the squad will find Stroh? This seems like definite possibility.

Major Crimes is a rare show, going from spin-off to a smash-hit show. The show has so many parts that work and that have made it so successful. So going into the sixth season, no matter what happens, it’s sure to be a great one. Fans know there will be drama, conflict, romance, and laughs and the new dynamic, as previously mentioned, is an exciting new way of reminding fans of the show they love.
