The Bachelorette spoilers: Possible Peter Kraus – Rachel Lindsay concerns

If you’ve watched The Bachelorette with any sort of regularity, one of the things that you know is that Peter Kraus is popular. Yet, you also saw on the preview for the next new episode of the show (airing on July 11) that he’s going to have some sort of emotional crisis the likes of which we haven’t seen before. For the first time really all season, the man is vulnerable on some level, and he has to figure out emotionally how to handle that.

So what are more of the origins behind this crisis of confidence? It starts in the way that many do: With a one-on-one date right before hometowns, and the first one that he’s been on with her since the start of the season. Take a look at the synopsis below if you’re so inclined for some further information all about what’s coming:

“Rachel takes Peter on the final one-on-one date, flying over the Swiss Alps in a helicopter. After touching down on the top of Glacier 3000, they share a wonderful dog sled ride to a cozy warm spot where they can huddle with a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The fact that the two have not spent quality alone time together for a while has amped up Peter’s anxiety. He is struggling with doubts that he shares with Rachel. What are the possibilities of a future together? Is this the end of the road for the passionate couple?”

If you are a Peter fan, then you can consider the following as a major reason to keep having hope for the two parties being together: The fact that Peter has anxiety in the first place. If he really didn’t care, then you have to go ahead and assume that he would be almost numb to going on a date with her. It really wouldn’t matter anymore. He obviously cares a lot about her and has some insecurity that he is going to somehow mess it up.

As for the date itself, it sounds both fun and rather terrifying since there is a helicopter ride involved. Also, does anyone think that Glacier 3000 sounds more like some cheesy brand-name refrigerator than a place that actually exists in real life? These are the sort of things that are at least on our mind … and the hot chocolate, which really makes us want hot chocolate even if this is the middle of the summer and that’s the sort of thing that should be FAR from our mind. (What can we say? We’ve got a little bit of a sweet tooth and aren’t afraid to bring it up.)
