Power season 4 episode 2 spoilers: Will Ghost hold his own?

Ghost

For much of the premiere, James St. Patrick was a model prisoner. On Power season 4 episode 2 airing Sunday, Ghost is coming out.

In what form? Well, let’s say that Omari Hardwick’s character will not be taking any abuse from his fellow inmates behind bars, no matter what they try to throw at him. He is a character who does not suffer fools or take any lip, and he is getting ready to back that up. You will see Ghost interact with another male prisoner in the episode, and it will take an ugly turn when said prisoner decides to make a show of force on him. Ghost fights back, but does so in a way that is quick, quiet, and calculated. He’s not the sort who is going to make his presence known publicly; he’s more of the strong, silent type. A ghost, if you will. (You can check out a sneak preview over at the link here.)

For Jamie, being in prison is a story of survival, of keeping his head low, and hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel. He knows that he has a pretty powerful team led by Joe Proctor fighting for him, who has his fair share of seedy clients who could very well be guilty of something. He does also still have Tasha on his side, and there is a serious lack of evidence that he was even in the right place at the right time to kill Greg Knox. He needs to just let Joe expose the vulnerabilities in the case so that everyone else can bury themselves. If that happens, then he leaves a free man and can get back to the club business.

Will there be challenges? Sure, given that even being accused of murder is enough to keep some buyers away. Still, if anyone can convince people to come back to his side, it’s Jamie. His specialty is somehow finding a way to use his charm to get what he wants, even when there’s no reason why it should work. That’s what makes the Ghost part of his personality so frightening, because all of that charm wilts away in favor of someone who thinks of violence as a transaction.

Just in case this isn’t enough for you…

There’s plenty more Power season 4 news where this came from! If you head over here, you can see a further preview for the coming episode on Sunday.
