Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Veto players, Paul’s temptation, and standouts
In the least surprising news ever, Paul was handed the temptation that would offer him safety for the first few weeks of the game … but with some sort of potential consequence that is not altogether clear just yet. He revealed the news this morning in his promised Q&A session with live-feed viewers, saying that he is planning to hold onto this in secret in case he needs it. He’s a far more self-aware player this year, and realizes that this coming out would be terrible for his game. This is clearly an advantage over what Neda was dealing with last year, where she didn’t have the ability to keep her power a secret. (Obviously if Paul is a replacement nominee, there’s a chance that he may have to use it this week, as well.)
If Paul does avoid being nominated this week, he may be able to lay low for a while and let other players pick each off. He is right that many of the women are struggling to get along, which was pretty predictable judging from how many of them pre-game said they wanted to work with the guys. Cody / Jessica are running things right now, but Matthew and Raven are fairly close to them, and in turn Mark and Dominique have connections with Cody. We don’t think that anyone within this contingent is super-tight yet, but this is something worth watching.
Paul also clued us in somewhat on the events leading to Megan’s decision to quit, which may have had to do with an alleged racist comment that was said about Alex. Even though it may not have happened, the fight was still nuclear enough for Megan to want out of the game.
Veto Players
Cody and the nominees of Alex and Jillian are of course playing; meanwhile, Jason, Matthew, and Raven are also taking part. While Jason and Alex have some sort of relationship, it may be too early to ruffle many feathers in the house.
Most watchable players so far
Alex is a little all over the place, but she’s at least doing stuff and has high energy. We’ll always take that in a houseguest. Meanwhile, Kevin is surprisingly smooth for a guy who didn’t even know who Nicole Franzel was, and is entertaining for days. Josh is a hot mess, Paul is always good feeds, and Jason’s surprisingly better than average. Christmas is great just because her life experience is so much different than anyone else.
When are more updates coming?
For those curious, we will be doing update pieces in both the morning / early afternoon and the evening, with more coming in the event something big happens along the way. The link here is the link to follow!
