Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Megan Lowder quits; who’s on the block?
So what in the world happened here? The jury is still a little out on that, other than that there are some people in the game clearly not happy with what transpired. She was removed for the game for a reason that is probably going to become a little bit clearer over time. She was on the block, and with that, Alex is now up there with Jillian. (Technically, she was the first “replacement nominee” this season, though via unconventional means.) With Cody in power as Head of Household, he had to nominate someone else in her place.
What we know for sure is that Megan got into some sort of heated argument, played hard, and then went into the Diary Room and eventually decided to leave.
Ultimately, this is one of the earliest that we’ve seen someone leave the game (Justin was expelled on season 2), but Megan’s time in the house was certainly not great leading up to this. She and Josh got into it early on, and we already saw Cody nominate her simply because he “didn’t like her.” That’s a rough start to the show.
The one thing that really does bum us out is that Megan left the game while Cameron was evicted in a real bummer of a twist; it’s the sort of thing that does make us wish that he was brought back into the game somehow. Maybe there is a twist down the road? Well, that’s the sort of thing that we want to dream about…
Other things to note
Jessica and Cody are the first showmance of the season, and our reaction to that is the equivalent of a face-palm. We wanted Jessica to be this sort of black widow player, and she’s instead with one of the duller people this season who clearly doesn’t like talking to anyone.
Beyond all of that, Paul seems to be fairly well-ingratiated into some of the house, Jillian and Alex are desperately pleading to America for some help, Josh is apologetic for being so confrontational, and in the end the houseguests are very eager with the shout-outs now that the feeds are online for everyone to watch. Goodbye, social life!
