Outlander season 3 Comic-Con panel date, location confirmed

For those of you interested in learning the Outlander season 3 Comic-Con panel date, we come bearing great news today!

Per The Hollywood Reporter, it now appears as though we’ve got both the day, the time, and the location for the big panel happening in just over three weeks at the San Diego Convention Center. You can expect to see the discussion take place on Friday, July 21 starting at 5:00 Pacific time in Ballroom 20. This is the second-largest venue that Comic-Con has to offer beyond the cavernous Hall H, and it’s where there will be more than likely a lively discussion of all sorts of good stuff pertaining to season 3.

As for attendees, we’re still waiting on 100% confirmation on that; with that, we don’t want to come on here and proclaim that someone is going to be attending only for it to be revealed later that this is not the case. Given that Richard Rankin is already confirmed to be doing another panel (read more here), it’s probably fair to assume that he will be around in some capacity. As for everyone else, the jury’s still out, but we have a feeling some other familiar faces will be involved.

There is quite a bit that could be disclosed in this panel, whether it be an official season 3 premiere date, the first lengthy trailer, a new teaser, or a new featurette. Our feeling is that you probably won’t leave the panel without some sort of video footage; if the premiere date isn’t announced by then, this is the perfect venue to do so. (Most internet buzz right now is around Sunday, September 24, but let’s not count our chickens before the hatch!)

Anytime Outlander is at a convention, you know that it’s going to be a good time. One of the best examples of that is earlier this year, where Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan took part in a panel at Emerald City Comic-Con.
