Longmire season 6: See new Robert Taylor photos from final week
Somehow, it took us until today to realize that Taylor even had an Instagram account — though, to be fair, he only first created it earlier this month. Some of the images below are from his account over the past two days, including an image with his co-star Katee Sackhoff.
This show to Robert has clearly been a labor of love, one that took him all the way around the world from his home in Australia and to the vast, beautiful scenery of New Mexico. There he got to play an iconic character, and to go along with that build himself a wonderful fan base. He’s been to Longmire Days in Wyoming numerous times, and has been very interactive with many fans. It’s going to be sad to see him go after so many years as this character, though it’s also pretty darn fair to say that he had a great run. Six years is a long time for a show these days, especially one where it was previously canceled halfway through by A&E. It’s been a bit of whirlwind.
Just as we’re sad to say goodbye to Taylor on this show, we’re also sad to say goodbye to Walt Longmire. Hopefully, the show does find a way to give him some sort of heroic ending, one where he has a chance to remind us of why he’s such a great Sheriff and a loyal friend. While season 5 was compelling, the majority of the final made it seem as though much of the world he knows and loves is about to be taken from him. We do anticipate that many of those cliffhangers are going to be addressed by the time the first episode or two of season 6 are over.
