Stitchers season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Kirsten has a plan…

Kirsten

As you progress further into Stitchers season 3 episode 4 on Monday night, it’s fair for you to have questions about Kirsten’s plan.

What in the world is the character up to? The sneak peek below offers up what may be very well a progress report on the show’s season-long arc, which involves the attempt to improve the stitch technology in order to further ensure that Kirsten can finally save her mother. Now that Cameron is running the lab, she sees this understandably as a golden opportunity, and a chance to move a little bit faster in her research to get more of what she actually wants in the end: A chance to help save her mother once and for all.

Kirsten convinces Camille here to get her a hand in her mission: Hacking into CIA computers, determining which pars of the brain need to be mapped more, and then proceeding to focus on them. Without as much oversight, they may be able to map more of the brain without interference, getting in the end so much more of their own desired result. If they can speed things along without the government knowing, they are so much more prepared for the future than they would be otherwise.

Here is the biggest issue that we see with this entire plan at present: It feels very unlikely that you’re going to have a chance to see this be successful. More than likely, you’re looking at a situation where the government finds out about this and comes down hard on them. There’s probably only so much rule-breaking that Kirsten and comapny are going to get away with — just look for a moment or two here at what happened earlier this season when Kirsten decided to assume a fake name to bust most of her old team back. It was only because of some clever thinking on her part that she was able to get herself out of that pickle without there being some enormous consequences.

What do you think: Is Kirsten smart to try and further this process along faster, or will this come back to bite her in a big way? Share now in the comments!
