Better Call Saul season 3 finale spoilers: Co-creator teases major cliffhanger

Better Call Saul season 3

For those of you looking for some final Better Call Saul season 3 finale spoilers, brave yourself for an epic cliffhanger. While the show has done this before, we may be gearing up now for one of the most shocking, chaotic endings that we’ve had to any season of the show so far.

In speaking on the matter of the end of the season to Entertainment Weekly, co-creator Peter Gould set things up in about as epic a manner as someone can possibly do given that this is a prequel, and you know how some of the ending for the series is going to go:

“There are characters who are in fear for their lives, and there are also characters who make a change for the better … There are moments in this final episode that are very happy, there are moments that are bittersweet, and frankly there’s a sequence that I find terrifying.”

As for who is in jeopardy in the finale, there are three clear people you can identify:

Chuck McGill – He’s been on a spiral to prove that he can be an effective lawyer, and also one to now destroy HHM after he learned that they weren’t as willing to stand by him because of is insurance liabilities. It’s easy to imagine something happening here.

Kim Wexler – She’s already injured herself badly in a car accident, and given Jimmy’s descent into darkness as of late there could be a moment coming where she pulls the shoot.

Nacho Varga – He’s been plotting secretly against Hector Salamanca, while still realizing that he has to play his game and unfortunately allow him to use his father’s shop as his new home base for the time being. Maybe he causes Hector’s stroke, but since we know it doesn’t kill him, he may still be facing death by the end of the season.

Beyond that, obviously Mike Ehrmantraut, Jimmy, and Gus Fring are all making it to a fourth season — even though a fourth season has not been necessarily confirmed as of yet. (On that note, why hasn’t AMC just issued that renewal already? It seems like such a given at this point.)
