Pretty Little Liars and the possible The Perfectionists connections

What lies ahead after Pretty Little Liars? Well, one of the shows that is generating the most conversation right now is The Perfectionists. This is a project being developed by show creator Marlene King, and like with PLL, it is based on the books from author Sara Shepherd.

Given that King would obviously want this new show to be a hit, it shouldn’t shock too many people out there that there are connections between her show now and the new one, and it could become even more apparent what those are coming the series finale.

Speaking per Entertainment Tonight, King teased up the story that is coming by confirming that there are connections on the current show to her new project. It’s not confirmed that The Perfectionists is happening as a show just yet, but it’s something to absolutely consider:

“Yeah [there are connected characters], but I’m not going to say just yet who those characters might be. [A spin-off] is definitely a possibility. It’s not a for sure thing, but there are ideas swirling around there.”

There was a rumor through IMDb that two characters from The Perfectionists could be appearing in the Pretty Little Liars series finale, but given how easily these pages can be edited, it feels too soon to 100% confirm that. What intrigues us a little bit more is the idea of someone who is already on this show appearing on the new one, given that two random characters appearing within the PLL universe doesn’t really make for all that much of a spin-off. Otherwise it’s just two shows that are sort-of connected and that isn’t anywhere near as much fun. Hopefully, there will be a little bit more in the ways of news and theories out there before this episode airs, and if there are actors carried over, hopefully they are familiar faces.
