When will the Big Brother 19 house reveal take place?

Big Brother 19 house reveal

We’ve already reported that the Big Brother 19 cast reveal will take place on Monday, June 19; with that, we’re here to present more news on the house reveal, as well! This always is another main event of the preseason, which makes a certain degree of sense given that this is something that we’re all going to be staring at endlessly for a pretty good percentage of the summer.

Here’s what we know, via Brian Porreca of The Hollywood Reporter (see the tweet below): The house tour is going to be coming on June 21, so that will be when you get a chance to see in full the makeup of this year’s house and the theme most likely. Hopefully it’s something new, fun, colorful, and also somewhat innovative. The show’s done a better job the past few years of trying to mix it up somewhat with its design, and hopefully that does continue. It’s good to force everyone to be close to each other here and there, but it’s good to have those nooks and crannies where there is room for people to go and whisper to each other.

Are there already rumors out there about everything from twists to who the cast members are? Sure, but such is the case for every season, and it almost becomes an exercise in futility trying to figure out what is real and what is fake since sometimes things change behind the scenes and there are typically an alternate or two who don’t end up making it into the house at the end. What matters most is what happens when the game actually starts and how things are played after the fact. This is where we get most of our juice from as a viewer and analyst of the show.

Big Brother 19 proper will air its season premiere on Wednesday, June 28 on CBS. Don’t expect to get to know all of the houseguests at once, since production will probably introduce eight people in the premiere and then the second eight the following night. This has become the trend as of late.

As speculated previously, this season will probably be shorter than Big Brother 18, but longer than some of the old-school seasons.
