Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 3 spoilers: The helicopter mystery
In the sneak peek below for Sunday’s episode, you get a sense as to how Jake wants to handle answering some of them, and also the sort of leader that he wants to be. The difference between him and his psychopathic brother is pretty clear — he listens to reason, and makes it very clear that he does believe that they are on their way to having a stable community. They just have to see things through in the process and not get overly anxious or mad while waiting.
You also get a sense in this preview as to the sense of trust that Jake’s own father Jeremiah has in him, allowing him to speak out in a public forum. That speaks in part to the perception that Jeremiah also wants to keep as a leader who doesn’t need to constantly pull strings. If he shows that he’s fine to let his son do some of the heavy lifting from time to time, maybe that helps to keep a little more of the peace.
There is one clear question that still needs to be asked: What if Jake is really the crazy one? It’s still questionable that he was really unaware of what his brother was doing that whole time at the compound, and when you think about the actor that is playing the character in Sam Underwood, this is a guy who’s played some really crazy characters on shows like The Following and Dexter. He’s got the capacity to deliver some sort of great turn for this character, so it’s absolutely something to keep in mind fornow.
Based on what you’re seeing from Jake Otto and the rest of the family at the moment, what do you make of them? Sound off below!
