Bachelor in Paradise 4 spoilers: Amanda Stanton reportedly joining

Amanda Stanton

For some reach, Amanda Stanton has decided that she’s ready for Bachelor in Paradise 4 — even after a messy first season as a part of the show.

As first reported by Reality Steve (before people picked up elsewhere and labeled “exclusive” after the fact), Stanton is going to be a part of the upcoming season of the show premiering later this summer. There are some other names floating around out there, but for the time being let’s just focus on this one given that her appearance on the show is the most surprising, all things considered. For one, her recent relationship and engagement with Josh Murray produced a near-constant stream of drama that played out like a really ugly soap opera in the end.

As for whether or not Amanda finds love that lasts this time around, it’s hard to be that confident — but that’s not anything to do with Amanda. Just remember that there are very few contestants who actually get married as a result of their time on the show. To date, the only Paradise pair to officially tie the knot were Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. (The less said about the fake wedding in the first season, the better everyone is going to be in the end.)

As for the rest of the cast, Amanda is joining Raven Gates officially, as she’s made it clear already that she is going to be a part of the show. Meanwhile, it’s fair to say that Corinne Olympios, Jasmine Goode, and Alexis Waters are all locks just because of how much screen time The Bachelorette has been giving them. Robby Hayes has done about a zillion interviews sharing opinions on everything under the sun, so odds are that he is the sort of person who will turn up if production will have him.

One of the biggest mysteries, to us at least, is if the show will justify casting someone like DeMario Jackson from Rachel Lindsay’s season after he came on her show with a girlfriend who called him out and it was a big part of the story; or, how about Chad Johnson, given how terrifying he was on last season before getting effectively thrown out of Mexico after the very first night?

Do you think that Amanda Stanton should be coming back to Bachelor in Paradise at this point? Does the show need her, or vice-versa? Share in the comments!
