The Voice season 13: When are blind auditions filming?
If you head over to the link here, you can try to secure some tickets for the upcoming auditions, which are taping at the end of June in preparation for the show’s premiere this September. Part of the fun that comes with attending a blind audition show is that you get a chance to get a leg up on much of what is coming on the season. Also, you get a chance to see what it is really like being there in a room and seeing much of the process play out. There’s probably an added bit of excitement knowing that this is the first time this particular configuration of coaches has been a part of the show. There is a chance to gauge a little bit of a different chemistry and a different vibe than what has been there on any season in the past.
By and large, the blind auditions are all sorts of refreshing and entertaining, mostly because the producers for the show seem to understand that the appeal here is almost entirely about the contestants as opposed to the coaches, the songs, Carson Daly, or anything else. The premise here is so simple, but it works for the sole moment of the coaches being surprised when they see someone after hearing their voice.
As for some of the other rounds of the show, that’s where The Voice does still need a little bit of work. To avoid sounding too much like a broken record, they need to consider cutting down on the number of Battle / Knockout Round shows in order to extend the live rounds and give viewers at home more of a chance to actually get to know the singers. The middle rounds feel a little more like filler that drags you on before eventually getting to some of the good stuff.
