The Bachelorette spoilers: Chris Harrison announces Rachel Lindsay’s cast
The video below comes via Periscope, where the show allowed Chris to go person by person through every single person who is looking for love this season. It’s a fun way to do this! It’s certainly more interesting than just combing through the bios and nothing else given that Chris knows these guys and can actually share some perspective about who some of them are as opposed to just what they look like on paper. These comments from his are things that will be saved most likely for some of the spotlights, which should be coming in the days ahead looking towards the premiere for this season. Let’s just say that there are a LOT of people to get through.
If there is a weakness in doing this in such a way, it’s that there are probably 10-15 people on this cast who are complete redshirts. You will know them for one day, and maybe only two or three minutes of that day. Following that, you will start to see them all vanish off, never to be heard from again. It’s hard to imagine how Chris figures out a way to come up with “fun facts” about them since you run the risk of giving away big spoilers for the season otherwise.
Of these guys, one of them will hopefully become Rachel’s new fiance, and send her down a road to marriage that is more fruitful than it is for some other recent contestants. Desiree Hartsock is the last lead to actually marry the person she chose at the end. There are some other people who are still together, including Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth and JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers, but getting down the aisle is still a challenge for some contestants on the franchise. This announcement is also coming in the wake of Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s relationship failing to work out.
