Better Call Saul season 3 episode 6 spoilers: ‘Saul Goodman’ is spoken

Better Call Saul season 3

As we move into Better Call Saul season 3 episode 6, there is one major order of business — seeing Jimmy McGill’s new mission. “Off Brand” is an interesting episode title for this show, since it does suggest that someone is shifting far away from itself. That could be an indication of Jimmy starting to become more and more like Saul, or it could simply be a reference to a business practice or something unrelated entirely. The good thing about this show is that unlike some others that are out there, we do tend to see a great deal of effort poured into almost every word that is written, whether it be the episode title or everything in the script.

Just as you would expect based on where we are at the halfway point of the season, Jimmy is far from the only character immersed in a little bit of drama when it comes to the show.

Better Call Saul season 3 episode 6 synopsis – “Jimmy embarks on a new endeavor. Meanwhile, Chuck pushes himself to the limit; and Nacho finds himself ensnared in a power struggle.”

The story of Nacho is, at the moment, the one that intrigues us mostly because he’s spent so much time this season already being relatively under the radar. We knew that Michael Mando was still meant to be a major part of the show, so perhaps this is the episode where a little bit of that starts to come more into play. There’s certainly a lot for him to fight for, especially when it comes to both his relationship with Tuco and then also the arrival of Gus Fring on the scene this season. (Sure, he’s been around for a bit, but this is our first opportunity to see him in action.)

Ultimately, the promo below has your main event for the episode: The utterance of the words “Saul Goodman.” At the tail end of it. All of a sudden, it’s starting to look more and more like a new era is coming for our title character.
