Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part 4: Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams leave

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part 4 is airing on Bravo next week, and Kandi Burruss will be at the center of it. Following some of the back-and-forth that came out between her and Porsha Williams, the allegations of her “drugging” Porsha (likely unfounded) are spiraling things out of control. Kandi accuses Porsha of inferring that she was a rapist, and the screaming leads to a dramatic walk-off.

Sure, this franchise has been subject to many walk-offs over the course of the past decade, but this one’s pretty interesting in how it suddenly becomes more like The Office than the standard reunion show. We’re going to go behind the scenes into the dressing rooms backstage, and Andy Cohen becomes a little more of a character than just the host.

Synopsis – “The cameras go beyond the curtain to capture behind-the-scenes moments, tears and tense conversations as the ladies try to recover from a painful realization to see if there is any chance of moving forward after an explosive season.”

For the time being, we’re skeptical that this is the sort of conflict that will be worked out this season. Maybe it can be down the road when everyone has a little bit of time to stop and think over everything that’s happened, but we’re not there yet. Time can heal some wounds, but this one may be a little bit too much to bear. What in turn makes this all the more difficult is the fact that there is another season coming up, and we presume that the majority of the women who are a part of the show are going to be interested in coming back and doing more. It’d be a shock, quite frankly, if that was not the case. This show gives them money, and a platform to promote other things. For example, Kandi has been able to use this show in order to further promote her new Old Lady Gang restaurant that is still in the process of opening in Atlanta.
