NeNe Leakes chimes in on Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion

Following last night’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show, we had what effectively was a #PhaedraExposedParty. Porsha Williams opened up about some of the rumors about Kandi Burruss allegedly trying to drug her, which appear to be false to such an extent that Kandi served her with a cease-and-desist notice about it. Beyond that, though, Porsha claimed that it was actually Phaedra Parks who was the person behind starting the rumor in the first place.

While we don’t always need to hear every Housewife offering their thoughts about every little thing under the sun, we do think that there is absolutely some merit in hearing at this point what NeNe Leakes had to say on this subject, given that she’s known Phaedra for a very long time and the two parties have a history. NeNe, who is rumored to be coming on the show next season, appeared last night on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen and offered up her own take on this:

“Phaedra been doing this bulls–t for a very long time. Phaedra did the exact same thing to me, as we already discussed before, years ago on the show when she first came on … She tried to take me down and it didn’t work. Phaedra’s been doing stuff like this, she just got caught.”

The entire situation seems to be all sorts of ridiculous and is only going to spiral and descend into more conflict for several seasons to come. Can you imagine if Kandi, Phaedra, and Porsha are all brought back for additional seasons of the show? Actually, we have a feeling that this will probably happen now given that this is the situation that would generate the most overall drama. If you were to add NeNe or maybe Kim Zolciak to the mix to go along with that, odds are the entire situation would explode thanks to all of the history that is already there.

We’re always glad to see NeNe react to pretty much anything, so this video was more fun than the majority of this season so far. Now that we’ve said all of this, we do also stand by what we write last night — there is effectively no need for the series to continue airing a fourth reunion show. They could’ve just crammed all of this in over the course of three parts and been done with it.
