Chicago PD season 4 episode 21 sneak peek: Tracy Spiridakos debuts

Chicago PD season 4 episode 21 sneak peek

Who is Hailey Upton? The Chicago PD season 4 episode 21 sneak peek below gives you a worthy introduction to Tracy Spiridakos. Not only that, but there is going to be some serious tension going on between her and Jason Beghe’s Hank Voight.

This Chicago PD sneak peek (via Yahoo! TV) takes you within the walls of a bank robbery, one that leads to the death of a guard. By the time Intelligence arrives, the robbers have already fled the scene, and they are left to survey the field and figure out precisely what happened. Upton and her team arrive minutes later, and immediately a turf war for jurisdiction begins with the two parties. Voight believes that his team understandably should be the ones who comb through clues and try to figure out what happened, given that they were the first to arrive. However, Upton counters that she is with the Robbery – Homicide Unit, and has been hunting these people down for weeks now. Another counter could be that she’s spent all this time doing it, and still hasn’t produced results. Isn’t there a case to be made for a set of fresh eyes?

If we were to think of the ideal solution here, it would be both of these units work together to gather the information needed to take on the robbers. This is clearly a group of criminals that are worthy of this much manpower and this much time. The one thing possibly getting in the way here is strictly a matter of ego. Everyone within the world of crime-solving likes to think that they’re the top dog, and the only one capable of being the hero.

In the end, this isn’t about heroes. More than that, this is simply a matter of finding someone who is the best equipped to take the situation on and having trust in them to succeed. It’s about stopping the bad guys over personal pride, headlines, or promotions. How Voight and Upton handle this will show so much more about who they are as cops.
