Animal Kingdom season 2 spoilers: First look at premiere

Animal Kingdom season 2

Animal Kingdom season 2 is heading to TNT at the end of next month, once you get past the Memorial Day holiday. Leading up to that, why not get excited about what’s going to be coming up? The second season is going to present some more reasons to be excited, and with that, some other twists.

Also, we have a feeling that we’re going to have a chance to see the action pick up almost immediately. While some shows like to build up slowly over time, it seems more in this instance that we’re going to see things kick off in a big way. There’s a heist, family drama, and some rifts that may be fairly hard to repair.

For some further news on what’s coming up, be sure to check out the synopsis below (via SpoilerTV):

“After a risky heist misfires, the boys blame Smurf (Ellen Barkin), sending shock waves through the family. Baz (Scott Speedman) copes with being a single parent, while Deran (Jake Weary) makes plans for the future.”

We hope that having a premiere date in late May helps the show stand out in the midst of a pretty crowded summer field. The majority of the series on cable won’t be premiering until we get around to June. By virtue of starting in May, they may be able to get some viewers hooked in rather quickly. That may be even more necessary in an era where live viewers are starting to slowly fade away across the board. We’re not just talking about TNT, though we did see the second half of Major Crimes have a few struggles of its own.

In the event that you haven’t seen it yet, we recommend that you watch the Animal Kingdom season 2 trailer now! Consider that a big reminder that things are going to get crazy, violent, and explosive in the weeks to come. This is a show that has a challenge
