Real Housewives of Potomac preview: Monique’s game night nightmare

Housewives of Potomac

Monique Samuels is a new addition to The Real Housewives of Potomac this season, so entering Sunday’s new episode, she’ll try to bond. Basically, she’s going to be doing what almost any woman in her situation would be trying to. She’s trying to get to know her fellow cast members, and a casual game-night seems to be the best way to do that. She has everyone over, people try to get accustomed to her surroundings, and she wants everyone to relax and see that she can be a natural fit within the group.

Then, of course everything goes to hell in a handbasket as the gossip starts to heat up, and it becomes more and more clear that there’s no way that this is going to go as she planned given that people will be thrown out and you’ll see a lot of dirty laundry being aired in a rather unusual way. For more, be sure to read below.

synopsis – “Monique hosts all of the ladies for a friendly card game of spades, but this house of cards comes crumbling down when she is pushed to kick Gizelle out of her home. Charrisse attempts to move forward with her life by prematurely announcing her divorce to a room full of strangers. Karen throws a special celebration for her mother’s 70th birthday, meanwhile, tensions arise when Ashley confronts Robyn with rumors about Juan.”

By the end of this episode, maybe you can say that the table is set to weeks to come? The Ashley – Robyn stuff seems to the sort of thing that is drawn out for weeks, and the game-night fiasco could be referenced until the end of the season as one of the most noteworthy moments of the entire season. (Hey, just remember that being noteworthy doesn’t exactly mean that it’s positive.)
