Riverdale episode 10 spoilers: Molly Ringwald in as Archie’s mother
Riverdale episode 10 is going to be airing on The CW next week, and what we’ve got for you is a first look at something that looks like it’s going to be especially exciting — a first look at Molly Ringwald!
The legendary teen star is going to be guest-starring on net week’s new episode entitled “Chapter Ten: The Lost Weekend.” Meeting Ringwald as Archie’s mother is going to be fun, and to go along with that, we’re going to see a wide array of different stories play out. For example, Betty is throwing Jughead a party! Not only that, but Veronica is going to have to make some key decisions when it comes to her father.
Overall, let’s just say that Riverdale is going to continue its tradition of finding a way to ensure that the lives of these kids is a million times more complicated than the lives of people who are two or three times older than them.
Riverdale episode 10 synopsis – “When Fred (Luke Perry) decides to finalize the divorce with Archie’s mother Mary (guest star Molly Ringwald), Archie (KJ Apa) hides his true feelings. Archie tries to win Valerie (guest star Hayley Law) back with a romantic evening, however, Betty (Lili Reinhart) hijacks his plans when she decides to throw Jughead (Cole Sprouse) a surprise birthday party. Once Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) learns of the party, she decides to make it interesting and things quickly get out of control. Meanwhile, Veronica (Camila Mendes) contemplates whether she should participate in the deposition to help get her Dad released.”
The first photo of Ringwald is of course above, and we’re somewhat still in awe that the show found a way to get her on board here.
Promo – This brings you a glimpse of Molly Ringwald, and to go along with that further, you’ve also got a good glimpse in here of just how out of hand the party gets for Jughead. We have a good feeling that this is not the birthday that he had in mind. Remember the guy from the pilot for a moment or two!
