Do we still want to see Christopher Meloni on Law & Order: SVU before the end of the series? That feels like a given, and it’s something that almost every fan out there in existence wants. While Stabler may never be a huge part of the show again, he was essential to more than a decade’s worth of television and his character remains one of the most influential in the history of the franchise.
This is why anytime that Meloni and Mariska Hargitay reunite, there is some such a strong reaction that comes out from the fans. These photos are reminders that the two remain good friends, and even if they’re not working together, they enjoy one another’s company. It’s for this reason that so many people believe that if Meloni was to ever come back to the show, Hargitay would more than likely be the conduit to help to make that happen. (In the end, though, we figure that Chris would also have to show a certain degree of willingness.)
The images below come from both actors’ Twitter accounts, and they are a great deal of fun.
As for the future of SVU this season, Wednesday night will offer up a new episode entitled “Know It All” that will focus heavily on the story of hacking, as someone under investigation decides for some reason that issuing threats could be one of the best ways in order to get precisely what they want. It doesn’t sound like a good idea, but in this world, it doesn’t shock us that someone would try to pull something like this within the criminal world.
Beyond this episode, the show will be on a brief hiatus until we roll around until near the end of the month. At that point, we imagine that there will be a lot more in terms of stories to share, and we’re excited to be able to get to it.
