Better Call Saul season 3: Go behind the scenes with Vince Gilligan!

Better Call Saul season 3Better Call Saul season 3 is going to be premiering on AMC come Monday, April 10, and with that, we’ve got a new video HERE that features none other than series co-creator Vince Gilligan stopping by the set and getting a lay of the land.

Gilligan says hello to some of the various cast members, and we also get the most extensive footage that we’ve seen to date of Los Pollos Hermanos, the famed chicken joint owned by none other than Gus Fring. Giancarlo Esposito is back, and the crew underwent a huge project trying to recreate the restaurant from what it was during Breaking Bad. There’s a lot of effort that goes into this, but there’s a lot of effort that has to go into this when you remember that this is the sort of thing that viewers are going to be rather eagle-eyed about. They’ll look at every finer detail, and they have no problem calling people out if they see something that they don’t like.

The best part of the video is the appearance of none other than Bryan Cranston, who played a visit to the set after stopping back for a book tour. What made this so hilarious was the folks over at AMC giving you every reminder possible that Cranston is not appearing on this season as Walter White, which makes some sense given that there is no real reason for him to be there. We know that there are some people out there who want a Walt or Jesse cameo, but personally we’re more than fine if neither one of them ever shows up. Breaking Bad was more of their story, and this is more of the story of Jimmy McGill and now he loses that part of himself on the way to becoming Saul Goodman. We are very much interested in getting to see an appearance of Jimmy in the present as Gene, but Walt isn’t around then anymore.

What do you want to see on the third season of Better Call Saul, and from Gus now that he’s back in the orbit? Be sure to share now in the comments! (Photo: AMC.)
