NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 19 spoilers: Deeks surprises Kensi

NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 19

What’s coming up on NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 19 next week? The title here is “767,”  and just on the basis of hearing that alone, you could probably assume that this is a story where aviation will be at the center of everything. Well, if you are assuming that … you’re assuming correctly! This will in fact be the focal point of the story, at least for the characters of Sam and Callen as they’re going to be teaming up to solve a mystery potentially aboard an airplane. If we do spend much of the hour aboard a plane, it should make for a fun story! One of the the things that we like about these sort of plotlines is that you’re dealing with such a confined space, and therefore you’re forced to make the characters suit that and write around the challenge. If you can put the writers outside of their element, it helps to foster creativity. The same goes for some of the cast.

As for some other scoop, let’s just say that this could also be a fun episode for all of the Densi fans out there.

NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 19 synopsis – “After an engineer who was developing a new guided missile destroyer is murdered, Callen and Sam go undercover to track his co-worker aboard a plane to Tokyo to sell the classified intel. Also, Deeks plans a surprise get-together for Kensi and her out-of-town friends.”

So while we still don’t have the formal Deeks / Kensi proposal moment that so many people may be waiting for, we do know that it’s probably coming eventually. This is a show that’s invested far too much in this relationship for them to abandon it now. We just hope that we’re going to get a fun set of stories leading up to it. Who knows? Maybe Deeks getting all of Kensi’s close friends around is a way to help create the memorable proposal that she wants, as opposed to the one that happened earlier this season when she was still in recovery.

Quick scheduling note

There is no new NCIS: Los Angeles episode on April 2. Therefore, following “767” you’ll have two weeks until the next one airs. Blame the Academy of Country Music Awards for that.
