Looking beyond Ransom episode 11 with ‘Refuge’

Ransom -

We should start this article off with a reminder: Ransom episode 11 is not new tonight on CBS. We understand being eager to get more of this particular story, but it’s not happening for another week. Blame the NCAA Tournament for that. In general, this is a show that has been forced to deal with quite a few inconveniences when it comes to scheduling, so being up against this one shouldn’t be that much of an issue in the end.

Ultimately, what we want to do within this article is give you a little more of a sense of what is going to be coming up on the series moving forward, and also its continued performance in the ratings to date. You’re going to get another installment entitled “The Castle” in one week’s time, and you can read a little bit more about it by heading over to the link here right now.

Meanwhile, what we’ve got for you below are some of your first details regarding “Refuge,” an installment airing on April 8 that will bring you a little bit closer to the end of the season. What makes this one so interesting is that we’re getting somewhat of a repeat here in that one of the people at the center of the story has some experience getting kidnapped. Given that we’re not altogether familiar with this world, we cannot comment too much on just how often this happens. We just know that it’s happening here.

Take a look at the episode’s synopsis below:

“Eric is called in to negotiate with a burglar who is holding a family hostage after they catch him breaking into their safe, but the team finds the circumstances suspicious after learning the husband has been kidnapped before.”

The latest Ransom ratings report

Even with no new episode tonight, it still does make a good bit of sense to share some of how the show is faring at the moment. This past episode of the show drew in total a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which isn’t too unusual given that this is around where most new episodes of the show have been. The disappointment comes more in how the 2.7 million viewers are a series low for the show. It still remains to be seen if this gets the show renewed or canceled, but you don’t want to see any numbers falling at this point in the season.
