The Flash season 3: Is this ‘Julian is Savitar’ theory too much?
This is not brought up just for the purposes of giving Felton a pat on the back; it goes back to the question of how the series was able to recruit him. Is it really just by making him into Doctor Alchemy and a possible Caitlin Snow love interest? Maybe that was enough just because he wanted to play someone a tad more likable for much of the series than Draco. Or, maybe this was just a front for something a little bit darker and deeper.
There is no evidence at present that Julian is Savitar; yet, there’s without question some interesting ways in which it could happen. It’s a theory that we’ve spent some time thinking about as of late, and as we get further and further into the season without an unmasking or casting news, we do feel like the possibility only escalates.
For now, here are some of our possible conclusions.
Option 1: Julian from another Earth is Savitar
Think about it: Savitar seems to have some connections to Earth-19 judging from some of the upcoming details that we’re getting on the “Abra Kadabra” episode. Maybe Julian from this world is the God of Speed and nobody knows it? An interesting idea is that all of the Julians from all of the different Earths have connections to their own version of the Philosopher’s Stone, and this Julian uses them in order to do his bidding. He has an army of various selves who he controls in some shape or form. That seems like an easier way to mark his minions beyond just hoping that someone else finds a way to be in possession of the special rock.
The one reason that you can say this isn’t true is that it seems like the Earth-1 Philosopher’s Stone seemed to be enough to get Savitar into the Speed Force. Maybe the stone bounces from Earth to Earth, or maybe there are many out there with this same effect and this is the only one being put to use right now.
Option 2: Julian from the future is Savitar
Somewhere down the road, Julian gets corrupted either by the stone or no fault of his own finds a way to go from becoming Alchemy to being the God. Then, he goes back in time in order to use his former self to achieve some of the things that he wants to ensure happens.
Option 3: Julian’s been Savitar this whole time
Hey, he moves so fast that it’s not hard to imagine him being in the same place as two different people. Like we saw with Reverse-Flash in season 1, this is the perfect cover for him to use.
