Real Housewives of Atlanta: Emotional Sheree Whitfield moments in Maui

Last week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, things boiled over in Maui with Porsha Williams – Kandi Burruss chaos galore. It was one of the messiest episodes of the season, and one that was utterly ridiculous due to the sheer fact that so much of the drama and the tea was unnecessary. We like tea, but you gotta let that stuff concentrate a little bit! (Wait, does that even make sense?)

Anyhow, we went into watching the preview for Sunday’s new episode thinking that it was going to be more of the same — and rest assured, there will be more drama between the two ladies! However, there will also be some other problems that come up and overshadow everything that is going on between the two ladies. Specifically, we’re talking here about some conflict between Sheree Whitfield and Bob that turns ugly and heartbreaking.

Synopsis – “Extinguishing all hope of a peaceful getaway, the group’s first dinner in Maui escalates to new heights as Kandi and Porsha erupt over who’s to blame for the salacious rumors that have surfaced. Kandi tries to shake off the drama by planning a speed boat adventure without Porsha, meanwhile Shereé and Bob’s courtship hits a major speed bump of its own. Later, Phaedra attempts to mend the ladies’ broken friendships by organizing an emergency “restoration service” and Bob tries to salvage what’s left of his relationship with Shereé.”

Specifically, there’s a moment in the promo below that contains one of the most horrendous comments that we’ve heard on the show — who suggests that they didn’t choke a woman hard enough? How is that acceptance? We don’t get the full extent of the context in the preview, but regardless of whatever it was or the intent of said content, at that point someone in production should be stepping in to deal with the severity of what’s going on. We’ll see what happens in the episode, but from the outside looking in it feels like many of the other women may need to be there for Sheree.

While we do want to see all of the ladies on the show get along and be on better terms, we never want the unifying factor to be something terrible happening with someone else.
