The Bachelor video: Vanessa Grimaldi, Nick Viall talk moving to Canada
In this preview, the two spend some of their time on their overnight date in Finland discussing a little bit of what the future for the two of them could hold, and it ends up being a conversation that is probably way more tense than either one of them anticipated! What’s the reason for that? A whole lot of it likely stems from the sole idea that these two are both incredibly stubborn in some ways, and they challenge each other. That’s what makes them in some ways a great match. You don’t want someone who doesn’t put their cards on the table and plays nice just because you are watching on television.
The main sticking point for the relationship is simply whether or not Nick could move to Canada, or Vanessa could move to the United States. They’re both very proud of where they come from, and have a hard time imagining anything else. We also have a hard time wanting to see either part move away from a situation that works for them, especially given that fact that they both seem fairly happy where they are.
Here’s where things get a little bit more interesting to us: If we were to have things our way, we would say that it’d be cooler if Nick was to move to Montreal, and also more feasible in terms of his career. Nick is trying to launch a line of men’s grooming products known as The Polished Gent, and to us, this is the sort of thing that can be done a little bit more remotely and much of his value comes from various promotions. If Vanessa wants to remain a teacher in her current field, it may be harder to transfer that between countries given that requirements in one place may not transfer over to the other.
If they are to get engaged, let’s hope that they find a way to figure this out.
