Supergirl – The Flash musical synopsis released by The CW

Supergirl - The Flash musical synopsis -

For those of you eager to have the SupergirlThe Flash musical synopsis, wait no further! The CW officially released the details on the upcoming March 20 and March 21 episodes, which should be all sorts of fun and all sorts of crazy.

We don’t want to keep you waiting — let’s go ahead and get to the good stuff!

Supergirl, “Star-Crossed” – “A new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl on high alert.  Meanwhile, Winn’s girlfriend, Lyra, gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way.  The Music Meister attacks Supergirl.”

The Flash, “Duet” – “Barry and team are surprised when Mon-El and Hank Henshaw arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl who was whammied by the Music Meister. Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.”

If you did not hear previously, the Music Meister will be played by none other than former Glee star Darren Criss, which should make for a fun reunion with Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin. Also, there are a ton of other people within this world who can sing, so you better believe that the show will make use of Jesse L. Martin, John Barrowman, and others. (You can actually head over here to get a full list of the confirmed performers.)

Ultimately, we don’t expect anything that serious to happen over the course of the two episodes to further the narrative. All we want is to have a good time here, and we absolutely think that this will deliver on that.
